IT Support Officer

About the role

Ignite Travel Group is seeking an IT Support Officer to join its Technology team in Broadbeach. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will provide first‑line technical support, maintain network infrastructure and help improve the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software and system issues, managing tickets and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, mobile devices and user accounts.
• Perform system upgrades, software updates and security patching.
• Support LAN, WAN and WLAN environments, including routers, switches and wireless access points.
• Maintain IT security standards through access management, malware protection, backups and policy compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in a Helpdesk, Service Desk or Desktop Support role.
• Experience supporting multi‑site technology environments.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
