IT Banking Consultant (Avaloq) - Australia

About the role

Forty2, a consulting company with over a decade of experience in Financial Services, is looking for an experienced IT Banking Consultant with strong Avaloq expertise to join its team in Australia. Acting as an Avaloq Parameterization Specialist, you will support banking transformation initiatives by working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and testers, analysing requirements, designing and implementing solutions, supporting testing and ensuring successful implementation of Avaloq-based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Avaloq solutions, including configuration and development as required.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, prepare and maintain test cases, including SIT, UAT and BAU non-regression scenarios.
• Support defect management, issue resolution and retesting.
• Support Project Managers and Test Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to project documentation, solution specifications and implementation activities.
• Ensure delivery quality and compliance with project standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong experience with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform, including parameterization, configuration and/or development.
• Good understanding of banking and wealth management processes, and experience in banking, private banking, wealth management or financial services.
• Understanding of the SDLC and testing methodologies; ACCP and/or ABRS certification is an advantage.
• Fluent English is mandatory; German and/or French is a plus.
