Inventory Officer

About the role

KBR is looking for an Inventory Officer to optimise supply chain operations by analysing logistics systems and supporting plans that improve product flow and inventory control. The role coordinates stakeholders and supports logistics processes aligned with organisational delivery goals, contributing to efficient and reliable distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and implement logistics plans affecting production, distribution and inventory of finished products
• Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyse requirements to develop strategies for desired delivery times and order fill rates
• Maintain records and prepare reports
• Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers
• Provide activity and status reports to management

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a related field; alternatively 10 years of progressive experience in a related field
• 4 years of specialised military experience in the same field can substitute for a degree
• 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Active Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Defence Security Clearance; only candidates with Baseline Clearance or higher should apply

Required skills

• Proficiency in Word, Excel and MS Project, and database maintenance and reporting
• Strong written and oral communication
• Relationship skills and stakeholder management across all levels of an enterprise
