Sorter - Altona Station

About the role

Dragonfly, a new Australian e-commerce delivery subsidiary with over three decades of experience in Canada, is hiring a Sorter for its Altona Station. The sorter helps ensure packages are sorted efficiently and accurately so they can be delivered on time. The role suits someone with experience working in a fast-paced team environment and with a strong attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Unload trucks and scan and label each package
• Sort all parcels by route number to keep the delivery process smooth
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and able to start early in the morning, with dependable transport
• Physically comfortable lifting parcels up to 20 kg and standing or moving for a 4-hour shift
• Previous experience in transport, distribution or warehousing is highly regarded but not essential; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are valued

• Hourly pay with stable, consistent morning shifts (Monday to Wednesday, 5:00am to 9:00am)
