Customer Service / Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

A wholesaler of gardening and household products, with over 15 years in the industry, is looking for an experienced Customer Service/Dispatch Coordinator to join its expanding team in Melbourne's Bayside and South Eastern suburbs. The role covers managing customer orders, overseeing warehouse operations and providing good customer service. It is a permanent, full-time position with potential for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Place customer orders in the system accurately
• Process and manage all customer orders promptly by phone and by email
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for timely dispatch
• Support dispatch operations, including labels and paperwork
• Ensure order accuracy and maintain documentation standards
• Handle customer service emails and phone calls and resolve basic issues

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Dedicated, self-sufficient and willing to learn and adapt in a growing company

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• ERP/WMS experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving mindset
