About the role

A Principal House Officer in Internal Medicine is sought for locum coverage at a coastal Queensland hospital from 31 October to 6 November 2026. The hospital serves a population of around 180,000 people across regional, community and rural settings, sits on the Coral Sea coast and is 980 km north of Brisbane. Remuneration is paid according to the B45 award.

Key responsibilities

Provide locum internal medicine cover as a Principal House Officer during the stated dates.
Work shifts as required, including weekends and late shifts.
Complete ieMR training on the first day of placement.

Required profile

Registered with AHPRA.
Right to work in Australia.
Completion of ieMR training.
