Interim Process Assistant – Operations (Step Up Pool)

About the role
Amazon is looking for motivated individuals to join the Step Up Pool as Interim Process Assistants at the Jandakot Fulfillment Center. In this temporary role you will support the Area Manager and help drive efficient receipt, stow, pick, pack and ship operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide coverage for Area Managers and support daily department duties.
- Allocate labour, lead briefings, assign tasks and track attendance.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on the floor, coaching associates and ensuring safety compliance.
- Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives and maintain a clean, organised work area.
- Identify and address safety hazards to protect team members.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for up to 12 hours and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.
- Availability for 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
Required skills
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
