Integration Architect – SAP S/4HANA (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an Integration Architect to join a multi‑disciplinary architecture team in South Brisbane on a 6‑month contract. You will design secure, scalable, enterprise‑grade integrations between SAP S/4HANA and a range of internal and third‑party platforms, influencing technical direction while adhering to enterprise architecture and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture and technical design of enterprise integrations.
• Design scalable integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA and connected applications.
• Produce high‑quality Solution Architecture Designs (SAD) and Solution Implementation Designs (SID).
• Define integration patterns using RFC, IDoc, OData, REST, SOAP, SAP BTP and SAP CPI.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, governance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure, Security and Network teams.
• Define authentication, SSO, certificates, connectivity and security architecture.
• Specify infrastructure, performance, scalability, monitoring and resilience requirements.
• Provide technical leadership throughout design, implementation and knowledge‑transfer activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience designing enterprise integration solutions.
• Extensive SAP S/4HANA integration architecture experience.
• Strong background in SAP BTP, SAP CPI and Cloud ALM.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience within large enterprise transformation programmes.
