Integration Architect

About the role

This 6‑month contract position is based in Brisbane and focuses on designing and delivering enterprise‑wide integration solutions for SAP S/4HANA environments. You will work closely with solution architects, functional experts, and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical design of integrations and extensions across SAP S/4HANA and connected systems.
• Design scalable integration patterns using RFC, IDoc, OData, REST, SOAP, SAP CPI, and SAP BTP.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define infrastructure, networking, firewall, routing, and authentication requirements.
• Establish secure identity frameworks (SSO, SAML/OAuth, certificates).
• Produce Solution Architecture Design (SAD) and Solution Implementation Design (SID) documentation.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
• Support performance, scalability, monitoring, logging, and operational optimisation.
• Mentor internal teams and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in integration architecture within large, complex enterprises.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA integration landscapes and supply‑chain processes.
• Proven ability to work across technical and business teams in fast‑paced projects.
