Insurance External Auditor - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Senior Associate Insurance External Auditor in Sydney. You will work with clients in the financial services sector, especially insurance, helping them improve financial performance and operations through external audit, financial statement assessment and compliance with standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform external audits, assess financial statements and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Analyse, identify and resolve complex business issues with effective strategies
• Work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating and driving innovation
• Maintain integrity and ethical behaviour, building trust with clients and stakeholders
• Conduct comprehensive audit and statutory reporting for prominent proprietary and listed companies
• Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and improve audit strategies and methodologies
• Assess and record internal controls and their environments
• Guide and mentor junior team members

Required profile

• Experience conducting audit and statutory reporting for prominent proprietary and listed companies
• Ability to work with diverse teams and guide junior colleagues
• Applicants need not meet every requirement; transferable experience is valued
