Accountant - Automotive Industry

About the role

A 100-year-old, fourth-generation family-owned multi-franchised new vehicle dealership in Tamworth, NSW, is looking for a dealership-experienced accountant to join its accounts team in a secure, long-term position. The accountants work closely with the Directors, completing month-end processes and franchise reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience as an Accountant or Assistant Accountant at a franchised car dealership; experience outside the automotive industry is not acceptable.
• Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail and strong organisational and time-management skills, able to meet deadlines independently.
• Applicants must be physically located in Australia and Australian or New Zealand citizens or hold a permanent residency visa.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Titan DMS is preferred.
• Month-end accounting and franchise reporting.

What we offer

• Salary up to $120k depending on previous experience, plus superannuation.
• Possible relocation contribution for candidates willing to move from elsewhere.
