Insolvency Accountant

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates with a degree in Business, Finance or Accounting to join Hall Chadwick’s Insolvency team in Perth. The position provides hands‑on experience in core accounting and advisory services, exposing you to insolvency and restructuring engagements as well as corporate transaction work such as financial analysis and due diligence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of formal insolvency appointments (liquidations, administrations, receiverships, bankruptcies).
• Prepare statutory reports, correspondence and filings for regulatory bodies.
• Conduct investigations into company affairs, financial records and potential recoveries.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, employees, financiers, lawyers and government agencies.
• Support asset realisation, creditor distributions and claims adjudication.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
• Assist senior staff with stakeholder meetings, creditor communications and court processes.
• Analyse financial information and prepare summaries and recommendations.
• Identify recovery actions and support litigation or enforcement matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Studying towards or holding a professional qualification (CA, CPA or CFA).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Confident communicator and effective team player.
