Insolvency Accountant (Intermediate to Senior)

About the role

SV Partners, a specialist insolvency firm with over 150 people and a presence in every Australian state, is growing and is recruiting an Insolvency Accountant for its Sydney office. The role suits candidates at intermediate to senior experience levels who want to learn and contribute. You will help plan and control small to medium jobs and step up to handle the more complex work of larger matters, with exposure to a wide variety of matters across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team with the planning and control of small to medium sized insolvency jobs
• Step up to perform the more complex work involved in larger matters
• Work on a wide variety of matters across various industries on a daily basis

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar
• At least 1 year of insolvency experience across personal and corporate appointments
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
• Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail

Required skills

• Bonus: CA/CPA qualification or being working towards it
• Bonus: experience in Insol
• Bonus: knowledge of FYI Docs
