Inside Sales Representative

About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative you will own an assigned account base, handling inbound and outbound calls to build strong customer connections. You will uncover opportunities and deliver high‑quality, pre‑qualified leads to the Commercial and Industrial sales team while supporting transport and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound enquiries and conduct outbound customer contact activities.
• Generate, qualify and record sales leads in the CRM system.
• Support customer renewals and provide professional service via phone and email.
• Coordinate daily transport schedules, vehicle bookings and maintain transport job records.
• Monitor transport activities, communicate delays and assist with route planning and fleet utilisation.
• Prepare manifests, waste tracking documentation and ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods, EPA and Chain of Responsibility regulations.
• Work with drivers, subcontractors and operations personnel to monitor paperwork and compliance records.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling and operational KPI reporting.
• Contribute to a Zero Harm safety culture and perform administrative duties for Sales, Operations and Transport teams.

Required profile

• Customer service experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong administration and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and Chain of Responsibility is advantageous.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Transport/logistics experience desirable.
