Commercial Manager

About the role

Zeller is seeking a Commercial Manager to accelerate growth across sales, partnerships, and account management. You will analyse funnels, optimise operational workflows, and build relationships with high‑value merchants and partners to drive revenue and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Own account management operations, including implementation, cross‑sell, and retention, and negotiate contract renewals.
• Develop and run inbound and outbound lead generation engines, maintain CRM forecasting, and coach regional managers.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage new and existing partner integrations, including POS, QR ordering, and ecommerce platforms.
• Lead a small multidisciplinary team, tracking KPIs for implementation, revenue, retention, and CSAT.

Required profile

• 3+ years in sales management, business development, partnerships, or operations within a fast‑growth startup/scale‑up.
• Proven ability to win complex, high‑value partnerships and manage long sales cycles.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in payments economics, transaction pricing, and margin analysis.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity, building processes from scratch, and closing deals personally.

Required skills

• HubSpot CRM (pipeline creation, forecasting, reporting).
• Payments ecosystem knowledge (acquiring, POS/EFTPOS, transaction pricing).
• Technical understanding of integrations, SDKs, APIs, and payment flows.
• Experience mapping operational processes into scalable workflows.
