Inside Sales & Partner Recruitment Specialist

This Inside Sales & Partner Recruitment Specialist role generates new opportunities with Australian SMBs through outbound prospecting, then recruits the reseller or MSP who fulfils them. It suits someone who has outgrown pure SDR work and wants the outcome, not just the meeting.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and cold-call Australian SMBs to find and qualify new opportunities
• Recruit resellers and MSPs to fulfil the deals created, sourcing, pitching and onboarding them
• Get new partners transacting: deal registration, quoting and first orders
• Run competitive displacement campaigns against other endpoint vendors
• Build and manage your own pipeline of customer and partner prospects
• Pass larger enterprise deals to Channel Account Managers
• Forecast accurately, keep the CRM up to date and hit monthly and annual targets

Required profile

• 3-5 years in inside sales, business development or channel sales, in IT, software or cybersecurity
• Comfortable cold calling, without needing a warm list
• Understanding of how SMBs buy IT and how MSPs package and resell it
• Commercially confident: able to talk margin, structure a deal and hold your ground
• Systematic pipeline discipline and strong CRM habits
• Curious about how customers run their IT

• Bonus: endpoint or IT security product knowledge, experience selling through resellers/MSPs/distribution, or partner recruitment/onboarding experience
