Injury Management Consultant

About the role

Marsh Australia is looking for a part‑time Injury Management Consultant to join its JLT Public Sector team in Newstead, Brisbane. This fixed‑term role (12 months) supports injured workers and employers with rehabilitation and return‑to‑work solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor injured workers’ rehabilitation and return‑to‑work plans.
• Assist employers in creating and overseeing return‑to‑work programs.
• Provide advice on injury prevention and occupational rehabilitation.
• Liaise with claims staff, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and employers.
• Conduct worksite assessments and training where relevant and practicable.
• Support the Return to Work Assist Program.

Required profile

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of the relevant Act and Regulation sections for rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with public and private sector stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem‑solving decision‑making skills.
