About the role
Marsh is seeking a talented Injury Management Consultant to join its JLT Public Sector team in Newstead, Brisbane. This part‑time, fixed‑term role (12 months) supports injured workers and employers with rehabilitation and return‑to‑work programs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and monitor rehabilitation and return‑to‑work plans for injured workers.
- Assist employers in creating and overseeing return‑to‑work programs.
- Provide advice on injury prevention and occupational rehabilitation.
- Liaise with claims staff, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and employers.
- Conduct worksite assessments and training where relevant.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Current registration with the relevant governing body (full registration preferred for Psychology).
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of relevant Act and Regulation sections for rehabilitation.
- Strong communication, decision‑making and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
