Industrial Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Industrial Supply Chain Manager leads the supply chain function within Thales' Industrial Centre of Competence (ICC). The role ensures contractual commitments are met, drives customer satisfaction, and actively participates in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Key responsibilities

• Define and promote the ICC vision, contribute to the Industrial Plan and Production/Repair Plans, and facilitate S&OP meetings.
• Develop and execute supply‑chain strategy covering planning, tactical purchasing, warehousing and logistics.
• Ensure efficient physical and information flows, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and drive continuous improvement to reduce WIP, inventories and lead times.
• Manage relationships with Thales sites, end customers, procurement and sales administration to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Provide data for Multi‑Year Budget calculations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• APICS Certified in Planning & Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) – or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of production, repair processes and industrial management control.
• Extensive experience in supply‑chain and inventory‑flow management methodologies.
• Proven ability to implement Lean tools, conduct Gemba walks and apply PDCA cycles.
