Indirect Tax Manager (GST & Advisory)

About the role

The Indirect Tax Manager will lead tax engagements and mentor a close‑knit tax team, delivering high‑value advisory services across a diverse client base. This position offers a hybrid work model and the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia while working with a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead indirect tax projects for listed entities, high‑net‑worth families, government bodies and SMEs ranging from $10M to $200M.
• Provide strategic advice on GST, state taxes, customs and cross‑border taxation issues.
• Collaborate closely with corporate finance, BAS and other internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior tax professionals, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualifications in taxation or accounting.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients.
• Solid experience in indirect taxation, particularly GST.
• Legal work rights for Australia.
