Independent Contractor Lawyer – Remote

About the role

Join Sprintlaw as an independent contractor lawyer and work completely remotely. You will log into our platform, choose the projects that match your expertise, and deliver fixed‑fee legal solutions to startups and small businesses across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Select and complete corporate, commercial and transactional legal projects on a flexible schedule.
• Provide advice and documentation for commercial sales, leases, corporate structuring, capital raising, employment matters, intellectual property, franchising, NFP/charity set‑up and data‑privacy compliance.
• Maintain regular communication with Sprintlaw to update capacity and ensure consistent client experience.
• Use Sprintlaw’s online project‑management, invoicing and workflow automation tools to manage each engagement.

Required profile

• Operates as a law firm with your own professional indemnity insurance.
• Aligns with Sprintlaw’s mission to make legal services simple, affordable and efficient for small businesses.
• Follows brand guidelines and keeps Sprintlaw informed of any changes in availability.
• Personable, tech‑savvy and excellent at online communication with clients.
