Implementation Inventory Purchasing Lead

About the role

The Implementation Inventory Purchasing Lead will ensure teams have the products, systems and support needed to deliver exceptional healthcare services across the Darling Downs region. This senior leadership position combines strategic thinking with people management to drive smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing supply chain team delivering responsive, customer‑focused services.
• Use data and insights to improve inventory performance, service outcomes and decision‑making.
• Build trusted relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders to solve challenges.
• Champion improvement initiatives that create efficient, sustainable and innovative ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in supply chain, logistics, purchasing or inventory environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a practical, results‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to build trust and influence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage competing priorities and deliver results in complex settings.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise business systems, reporting or business intelligence tools.
• Qualifications in supply chain, logistics, procurement, business or project management are advantageous.
