HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its Brisbane team in Windsor. You will service and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems, with training and support available to move into chillers, BMS and advanced building technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions for customers
• Perform scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance
• Install, commission and optimise HVAC equipment and components
• Complete service documentation and keep accurate records
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams
• Ensure all work is done safely and in line with industry and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Cert III Air Conditioning & Refrigeration trade qualification (essential)
• ARCtick refrigerant handling licence (essential)
• Queensland electrical licence or restricted electrical licence (essential)
• Previous experience in HVAC service, maintenance or repairs
• Current driver's licence
• Full Australian working rights; pre-employment medical assessment, criminal history check and drug and alcohol screening apply
