HSE Lead

About the role

Mondelēz International, a global snack company with brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Philadelphia, Belvita, Ritz and Toblerone, is looking for an experienced HSE Lead to join its Truganina NDC leadership team. The role partners with a range of stakeholders to implement site-specific HSSE initiatives, drive best practice and risk management, and help build a strong safety culture aimed at zero incidents and an optimum environmental footprint. It suits HSE professionals with experience in FMCG manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of all health and safety programs and processes for the site.
• Support the maintenance of the State self-insurance through risk management systems, prepare for self-insurance audits and close out corrective actions.
• Act as the health and safety subject matter expert for all site projects and change management activities.
• Follow up on non-conformances and develop resolution systems based on root cause analysis.
• Maintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with incident investigations with the HSE pillar team and safety committee, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes and reoccurrence.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in HSE roles within production, warehousing or logistics environments.
• Proven experience leading and coaching the HSE agenda in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety.
• Tertiary education in an applicable field.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for coaching and developing others.

The role is site-based, Monday to Friday, with no relocation support available.
