HR/IR Manager for Major Rail Infrastructure Alliance

About the role

DT Infrastructure is looking for a commercially astute HR/IR Manager to join the METRONET High Capacity Signalling Alliance (HCSA). This role will shape workforce strategy, culture and industrial outcomes for a large, multi‑partner rail signalling project in Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR and Industrial Relations strategy aligned with project delivery goals.
• Act as trusted advisor to the Alliance Management Team and senior leaders.
• Drive a high‑performance culture across a multi‑disciplinary workforce.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent management and organisational design.
• Oversee employee relations ensuring consistent, compliant outcomes.
• Partner with Alliance stakeholders to ensure alignment across organisations.
• Champion safety, inclusion and engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager within infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong expertise in Industrial Relations, preferably in unionised environments.
• Experience on large‑scale projects with diverse workforce models.
• Exposure to JV or Alliance project environments (highly regarded).
• Strategic mindset with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
