HR Practice Sales Director

About the role

The Practice Director builds and leads a new dedicated HR Practice at Expert360, one of four Australian Practice Directors in the marketplace team reporting directly to the Founder and CEO. Expert360 connects HR professionals to organisations, especially in the mid-market, for contract, permanent, consulting, interim or fractional work. The role combines market expertise with commercial acumen, using an established network of CEOs and client organisations to generate new business, manage key accounts and deliver talent outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships in the HR and People & Culture sector, mainly with C-suite mid-cap clients
• Originate and convert new executive and senior-level search opportunities
• Act as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, market insights and organisational design
• Lead fee negotiations, proposal development and commercial agreements
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of client projects and jobs, including feedback, brief and shortlist shaping, and close
• Partner with senior HR professionals on complex projects
• Maintain a visible presence in the HR leadership market, build a network of senior HR candidates and represent the firm at industry events
• Provide market intelligence and thought leadership internally and externally
• Partner with colleagues to land and expand opportunities, mentor junior consultants and contribute to the firm's growth strategy

Required profile

• Proven experience in executive search or senior recruitment within HR / People & Culture
• Established network of HR leaders, candidates and client organisations
• Ability to operate credibly with C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Senior, market-facing role requiring proven search capability and consultative selling skills
