HR Advisor - Fremantle

About the role

A national transport and logistics company based in Fremantle is looking for an HR Advisor. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the role supports employees and management across the HR function and aims to be an employer of choice. Key responsibilities

• Daily processing of employee allocation and timesheets as a priority
• Fortnightly workers' compensation payment administration with payroll
• Support Payroll and Labour Management activities
• Oversee Workers' Compensation for the terminal, including administration and coordination with external stakeholders and medical providers
• Handle the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding through development, retention to departure
• Monitor adherence to policies, plans and HR programs
• Assist managers and supervisors with performance management processes
• Support senior line managers on people-related issues such as management style and team effectiveness
• Support and coordinate industrial relations plans and processes that meet business needs and the Enterprise Agreement
• Coordinate investigations, make findings and recommend actions to stakeholders

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience, ideally in an operational environment, with demonstrated workplace relations and people management experience
• Experience supporting supervisors and managers with performance management
• Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
