Housekeeping Training Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Training Supervisor will lead and coordinate training activities for the housekeeping team while remaining hands‑on in hotel operations. You will guide new hires from day one, deliver structured programs, and support ongoing development of existing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured onboarding, induction and training programs for new housekeeping team members.
• Coach, mentor and develop housekeeping supervisors, room attendants and service attendants.
• Conduct regular room inspections, spot checks and quality audits to maintain five‑star presentation standards.
• Monitor training progress, complete documentation and provide performance feedback.
• Support implementation of housekeeping procedures, work instructions and service standards.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify development opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or assistant executive housekeeper role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures and quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to luxury guest experiences.
• Availability to work across a 7‑day roster as operational needs dictate.

Required skills

• Experience using OPERA or other hotel property management systems.
• Familiarity with housekeeping procedures and service standards.
