Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Saffire Freycinet, a luxury lodge in the Freycinet National Park area of Tasmania, is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor. You will work alongside the Executive Housekeeper to maintain the presentation of the 20 suites and shared spaces, support the team's daily operations and help colleagues develop their skills. The role suits someone ready to settle on the East Coast and make a long-term commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, plan and allocate work, and support team performance and development goals
• Welcome, train and support new colleagues in Saffire's service and presentation standards
• Make sure the team has the tools and equipment needed for consistently high-quality work
• Communicate closely with other departments to support a seamless guest experience
• Complete quality inspections with the Executive Housekeeper and check suites, public areas, equipment and linen for cleanliness and condition
• Help service guest suites, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning to an exceptional standard

Required profile

• Supervisory experience in luxury accommodation or a similar environment, with an eye for detail and pride in well-presented spaces
• Reliable and flexible, available across a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Enjoys learning, sharing knowledge and helping yourself and your team develop
• Current driver's licence and a reliable car, due to the remote location
