Food and Beverage Attendant - Formal Dining and Bar

About the role

NRMA Parks & Resorts is looking for experienced Food & Beverage team members to join the team at Freycinet Lodge in Tasmania, with around five positions available. The main focus is on experienced waitstaff for the formal dining team in the Bay Restaurant, with an additional opportunity for an experienced Bartender. Positions can start from 20 November.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional table service in the Bay Restaurant
• Create a memorable dining experience for guests
• Take food and beverage orders and share knowledge of the menu
• Serve and recommend wines and beverages
• Prepare and serve cocktails and other drinks behind the bar
• Work across breakfast and dinner service, including some split shifts

Required profile

• Previous hospitality experience, particularly restaurant or formal dining service
• A genuine passion for providing great guest experiences
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach
• Flexibility to work breakfast, dinner and split shifts
• Team player who takes pride in the guest experience
• Couples are welcome to apply

Required skills

• Wine knowledge or experience in food and wine service; a WSET qualification is a strong advantage
• For the bartender role: basic mixology and cocktail-making experience
