Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

A casual Housekeeping Attendant is sought for the Bayview Geographe Resort, a resort managed by Accor located near Busselton's town centre on 27 acres of beachfront land. The role keeps guest rooms, storage areas and corridors clean and ensures supplies are replenished so guests enjoy a clean, comfortable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors to the required standard
• Replenish guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms according to room type
• Report lost property following correct procedures
• Carry out programmed and regular cleaning duties as allocated
• Handle guest laundry in line with hotel policy
• Use and clean equipment carefully, report defects and maintain equipment to a high standard
• Assist with regular equipment stocktaking and special or deep cleaning projects
• Keep keys and guest rooms secure, report suspicious persons or items to the supervisor
• Store cleaning agents correctly under health and safety rules and protect guest privacy
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures and safety guidelines, and take part in regular training

Required profile

• Minimum of 6 months' relevant experience in a similar environment preferred
• Verbal fluency in English
• Current and ongoing Australian work rights; willingness to undergo a police check
• Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster
