Casual Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

The City of Busselton is seeking a casual Food and Beverage Attendant for Saltwater Busselton, a multi-use venue in the Cultural Precinct featuring an art gallery, a 640-seat theatre and a conference suite overlooking Geographe Bay. The role delivers smooth bar and venue operations, with hours that are ad hoc and vary between day and evening shifts, including weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the venue and bar areas, keeping them clean and ready for service.
• Set up furniture for functions and conferences.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, process payments and check customer ID.
• Monitor and restock bar supplies and report stock issues.
• Clear tables, keep service areas clean and support general venue cleanliness.
• Provide customer service for theatre shows, community events, music events, business events and food and beverage functions.

Required profile

• A minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing hospitality role.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings.
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the team.
• Passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Proof of right to work in Australia and RSA certification.
• Current C class driver's licence (desirable).

Pay is up to $47.10 per hour inclusive of the 24% casual loading. Applications are made through the online application form, attaching a current resume; the closing date is 03/01/2027.
