Housekeeper - Resort and Villas

About the role

Country Club Tasmania, a resort in Launceston with five restaurants, four bars, 88 hotel rooms, 16 suites and 78 villa units, is looking for Housekeepers to join its team ahead of Summer 2026/2027. This is a casual role supporting the Resort and Villas by keeping guest rooms clean and well presented.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas
• Make beds, change linens and replace towels
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors
• Restock supplies
• Inspect rooms and report any issues with maintenance or cleanliness

Required profile

• Can-do attitude and excellent time management skills
• Passion for customer service and high attention to detail
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job; new employees must pass a fitness-for-work assessment
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Availability across a seven-day roster
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience highly regarded
• Driver's licence
• Appointment may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening
