Housekeeper / Cleaner – Casual Role

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at Oaks Townsville Gateway Suites, part of Minor Hotels, in a casual capacity. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and contribute to exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, make beds, vacuum floors and clean bathrooms.
• Complete cleaning tasks within allocated hours and meet daily targets.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, with training provided.
• Adhere to safety, environmental protocols and maintain a respectful work environment.

Required profile

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail, good physical fitness and stamina.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
