About the role

Stanley Restaurant, set against Brisbane's riverfront, offers a refined Cantonese dining experience. It is hiring casual Hosts to join its Front of House team. The role suits someone who enjoys hospitality and wants to work in a busy, friendly restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, creating a memorable first impression
• Take guest orders, including the unique beverage list
• Show product knowledge and upsell
• Manage table turnover and guest wait times so the dining flow stays smooth and timely
• Support the leadership team to deliver seamless service and uphold restaurant operations
• Assist with guest requests and requirements

Required profile

• Previous experience hosting in a well-renowned restaurant; fine dining is an advantage
• Background in high-volume, quality hospitality
• Engaging presence with strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Energetic, charismatic and a positive, collaborative team player
• High standard of grooming
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
• Valid Queensland RSA
