Public Areas Attendant

About the role

Punthill Springhill, a Punthill Apartment Hotel in Brisbane's Spring Hill, is hiring a Public Areas Attendant. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be part of a small team creating lasting memories and exceptional experiences for guests. The property is an apartment-style hotel with 67 serviced apartments, a pool, BBQ area, guest laundry, off-site gym access, a café, car parking and pet-friendly rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain common areas to brand standards
• Clean guest rooms during stays and departures to a high standard
• Ensure the efficiency and quality of cleans meet hotel benchmarks
• Give feedback to the Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager on common area conditions, especially areas needing deep cleaning, repairs or replacement

Required profile

• Adaptable, enjoys variety and works with an ownership mindset
• Attention to detail, organisational skills and high standards of cleanliness
• Flexibility to work at least 3 shifts a week, primarily morning/day shifts
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or a visa with approved working rights)
