About the role
Sodexo is seeking a Hospitality & Utilities Attendant for a FIFO roster based in Cairns, Queensland. The role involves housekeeping, kitchen support, customer service and site maintenance on a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Housekeeping and cleaning of accommodation rooms (dongas)
- Supporting kitchen and dining room operations, including basic food handling and preparation
- Providing friendly customer service in the onsite tavern or retail shop
- Cleaning and maintaining mine‑site offices, outdoor areas, and common areas
Required profile
- Ability to travel safely to and from work
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
- National Police Check (within last 6 months)
- Endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre‑employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
