Hospital Pharmacist – Grade 1/2 (Bega)

About the role

The South East Regional Hospital in Bega is seeking a qualified Pharmacist (Grade 1/2) to join its multidisciplinary team. This permanent full‑time position offers the chance to deliver comprehensive pharmacy services within a rural health setting, supporting patient care across the Southern NSW Local Health District.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a full range of pharmacy services to patients and health‑care staff.
• Contribute to clinical pharmacy activities, including medication review and therapeutic advice.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy standards.
• Prioritise and organise caseload to meet patient needs efficiently.

Required profile

• Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
• For Grade 2, at least three years of post‑registration hospital pharmacy experience and competency in required criteria.
• Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to evidence‑based practice.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
