About the role

Buildsafe is expanding across Queensland and is seeking experienced subcontractor crews to meet growing demand for height‑safety systems. The role involves partnering with Buildsafe’s Queensland operations to deliver projects throughout Brisbane, South East Queensland and regional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects across Brisbane, South East Queensland and regional locations.
• Work on a variety of height‑safety systems including scaffold, hang‑on platforms, rail & void protection, and edge protection/guardrail solutions.

Required profile

• Established Pty Ltd subcontractor business with proven subcontracting experience.
• Minimum 2+ years leading a crew.
• Current Workers Compensation and $20M public liability insurance.
• White Card, valid driver’s licence and relevant tickets/certifications.

Required skills

• Experience installing and maintaining scaffold systems.
• Proficiency with hang‑on platforms.
• Knowledge of rail and void protection systems.
• Ability to install edge protection and guardrail systems.
