About the role

A leading Tier 1 architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Architect with a strong healthcare background to join its Brisbane studio. The role blends creative design, strategic thinking, and commercial awareness, offering involvement from concept through to delivery on major health‑sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate design ideas across all project stages, from early planning to construction documentation.
• Lead design discussions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and engage with senior stakeholders including clinicians and consultants.
• Contribute to strategic project thinking, turning complex requirements into functional, engaging spaces.
• Mentor junior staff, support client relationships, and help grow the practice’s healthcare portfolio.

Required profile

• Solid experience delivering healthcare projects within an architectural practice.
• Strong design instincts and ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Confidence handling complex briefs and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Interest in evolving healthcare environments and how design can support new care models.

Required skills
