About the role
Optizon, a fast‑growing e‑commerce company operating multiple Amazon brands, is seeking a senior Head of Marketplace Operations to lead and optimise its Amazon marketplace activities. The role combines strategic oversight of listings, supply‑chain, customer experience and AI‑driven initiatives across several brands.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day Amazon operations across multiple brands, including listings, account health, pricing, fulfillment and compliance.
- Drive growth initiatives such as new product launches, keyword optimisation, promotions and advertising campaigns.
- Monitor sales, customer metrics and profitability to inform strategic decisions.
- Resolve high‑impact Amazon issues (listing suspensions, chargebacks, policy violations) swiftly.
- Direct end‑to‑end supply‑chain functions: procurement, inventory forecasting, 3PL coordination and FBA/FBM logistics, aiming to optimise turnover and working capital.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to improve lead times, reduce COGS and enhance vendor reliability.
- Lead customer‑service strategy on Amazon, implementing SOPs and automation to improve response times, returns and warranty handling.
- Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to enhance forecasting, ad performance, competitive analysis and process efficiency.
- Build and manage cross‑functional teams, develop scalable systems and align operational strategy with company revenue goals.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in Amazon marketplace operations.
- Deep knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, FBA/FBM models and compliance requirements.
- Strong operational instincts with a track record of improving supply‑chain efficiency and profitability.
- Ability to analyse data, make strategic decisions and solve high‑impact issues quickly.
- Experience working with AI‑driven tools and automation to optimise e‑commerce processes.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills and ability to influence senior leadership.
