Head of Marketplace Operations

About the role

Optizon is seeking a senior leader to head its Amazon marketplace operations across multiple brands. The role combines deep Amazon expertise with operational acumen to drive growth, efficiency, and an exceptional customer experience in a fast‑moving e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day Amazon activities, including listings, account health, pricing, fulfillment, and compliance for several brands.
• Lead growth initiatives such as new product launches, keyword optimization, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
• Direct end‑to‑end supply‑chain functions: procurement, inventory forecasting, 3PL coordination, and FBA/FBM logistics.
• Collaborate with sourcing and supplier teams to improve lead times, reduce COGS, and enhance vendor reliability.
• Define and execute customer‑service strategy on Amazon, ensuring high ratings, rapid response times, and streamlined returns and warranty processes.
• Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to improve forecasting, ad performance, competitive analysis, and overall operational efficiency.
• Build and manage cross‑functional teams, aligning operational tactics with revenue and profitability goals alongside the CEO and leadership team.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing Amazon marketplace operations for multiple brands.
• Strong track record of scaling supply‑chain and fulfillment processes in an e‑commerce setting.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve high‑impact Amazon issues quickly and effectively.
• Leadership experience with cross‑functional teams and a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
