About the role

Join Wilhelmsen Port Services as a Ships Agency Operator in Mackay, Queensland. You will coordinate vessel operations, ensuring smooth port calls and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage vessel arrivals, berthing, loading and departures in collaboration with port stakeholders.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless port calls.
• Stay informed on business opportunities, port activities and regulatory updates.
• Be available for out‑of‑hours and weekend work as required.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑driven with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines and treat challenges as growth opportunities.
• Valid Australian work permit, driver’s licence and eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills for administrative tasks.
• Strong administrative and documentation abilities.
