Head of Integrated Planning

About the role

Metcash is looking for a Head of Integrated Planning to lead how the company plans, prioritises and executes initiatives that drive sales growth across its IGA supermarket network. The role builds a connected, end-to-end planning approach that brings together Commercial, Merchandise, Retail, Marketing and State teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead an integrated planning framework that links business strategy with annual, quarterly and monthly execution.
• Align cross-functional teams around shared priorities and create a clear, consistent planning rhythm.
• Lead planning governance, influence key decisions and focus resources on initiatives that deliver the greatest value.
• Partner with State and Retail teams so initiatives are practical, achievable and ready for in-store execution.
• Measure performance, capture learnings and drive continuous improvement to improve retail outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in FMCG or retail.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end planning and driving cross-functional alignment in complex organisations.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to turn business priorities into actionable plans.
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
