Head of Finance

About the role

Tracksuit is scaling rapidly across NZ, AU, US and the UK and needs a senior finance leader to take the function to the next level of maturity. Reporting to the COO, you will own finance strategy, controls and insight while building a high‑performing global finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand the Finance function across four regions, establishing clear accountability and capability.
• Own month‑end close, consolidation, balance‑sheet integrity, accounting policies and audit readiness.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow modelling and long‑term financial planning in partnership with business leaders.
• Manage group liquidity, banking, treasury, AP/AR and working‑capital controls.
• Oversee revenue recognition, billing, deferred revenue and alignment with GTM teams.
• Ensure statutory and tax compliance in NZ, AU, US and UK, including transfer‑pricing and R&D tax incentives.
• Design and automate finance systems, leveraging AI and integration tools to reduce manual work.
• Partner with the leadership team on headcount, investment decisions, performance analysis and strategic transactions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of finance experience, including senior roles such as Financial Controller or Head of Finance.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Proven experience building and scaling finance functions in high‑growth SaaS or recurring‑revenue businesses.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting, audit and control expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop finance teams.
• Commercial judgement with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.

• Interest and familiarity with AI‑driven finance solutions.
