Guest Service Agent (Parental Leave Cover)

About the role

Sofitel Adelaide is looking for a Guest Service Agent to cover parental leave. You will welcome each new and returning guest with personalised and attentive care, going beyond check-in and check-out by anticipating needs and recommending local experiences. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract starting December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with personalised, attentive care
• Anticipate guest needs and offer recommendations about the region
• Share knowledge of the region to make stays more special

Required profile

• Service-focused personality able to connect with guests through storytelling and anticipation of needs
• Fluent English, written and spoken; additional languages are an asset
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, or willingness to obtain it
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays
• Full Australian working rights; only applicants currently in Australia will be considered

Required skills

• Prior experience with Opera Cloud or a similar Property Management System
• Full unrestricted driver's licence; confidence with automatic and manual cars is an advantage
