Guest Service Agent All Rounder (Front Office)

About the role

Swissôtel Sydney, a luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Sydney's business, retail and entertainment district, is looking for a Guest Service Agent All Rounder to join its Front Office team. The role covers welcoming guests, handling requests and enquiries, and delivering warm, responsive and luxury service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide prompt, courteous and efficient check-in and check-out.
• Assist guests with requests and create memorable experiences.
• Ensure timely delivery of guest amenities and the security of guests and their possessions.
• Handle in-house and external guest enquiries by telephone and email.
• Liaise daily with departments such as food and beverage and housekeeping on guest movements, requests and activities.
• Meet and exceed guest expectations and handle customer complaints proactively.

Required profile

• Natural ability to connect with people and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Previous front office experience in a luxury environment is desirable.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for people.
• Full-time work rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Previous experience with Opera or Opera Cloud is favourable.

• Pay of $27.97 per hour Monday to Friday, $34.96 on Saturdays and $41.96 on Sundays (HIGA Level 3).
