Growth Marketing Strategist

About the role

DoorDash is looking for a performance‑marketing expert to own online acquisition across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive new‑customer growth, optimise spend efficiency and work closely with an award‑winning agency village and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, brief and optimise paid‑media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Search and Display.
• Manage significant paid‑media budgets, making strategic decisions on allocation to meet CAC and CPA targets.
• Collaborate with creative, brand, partnerships and finance teams to translate business priorities into scalable acquisition strategies.
• Analyse performance data, run structured tests and provide regular readouts on CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV and ROAS.

Required profile

• 4+ years of marketing experience covering campaign strategy, planning, forecasting and execution.
• Hands‑on experience managing media buying and optimisation for paid search, paid social and display, either in‑house or at an agency.
• Strong data‑led mindset with comfort using Excel (functions, pivots) and familiarity with SQL queries.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across strategy, ops, partnerships, finance and martech.

Required skills

• Google Ads (AdWords) and Facebook Ad Manager (including Instagram, TikTok).
• Advanced Excel (functions, pivot tables).
• SQL query basics.
• Understanding of marketing tech stack, tracking, testing and analytics.
