Marketing Manager – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager on a 12‑month contract to lead its marketing, brand and communications strategy across Australia and New Zealand. The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and will support growth objectives through demand generation, brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the KONE brand across ANZ and lead the regional marketing and communications strategy, plans and budget.
• Partner with business and sales leaders to drive segment‑based demand generation, account‑based marketing, sales enablement and customer engagement programmes.
• Manage media, PR, reputation management and external communications, providing senior‑leader messaging support.
• Increase visibility through customer stories, industry partnerships, events and engaging content.
• Lead digital marketing activities across web, social, email, automation platforms and campaigns.
• Measure, report and act on marketing performance, insights and opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in a multinational technology, infrastructure or service environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or related discipline.
• Proven track record of developing strategy and delivering measurable growth, customer and reputation outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen, including segmentation, value‑proposition development, demand generation and budget ownership.
• Experience advising senior leaders and influencing diverse local and global stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated people leadership and experience managing agencies and multi‑disciplinary partners.
