Group Financial Controller - Renewables

About the role

We are partnering with an established independent power producer to hire a Group Financial Controller reporting directly to the CFO. The role spans development, construction, operations and financing across a multi‑technology renewable portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including Group reporting to the offshore parent.
• Month‑end and year‑end close, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Cash management, liquidity forecasting and banking.
• Project‑level lender reporting, covenant compliance and debt servicing.
• External audit, statutory accounts and tax compliance.
• Financial controls, governance and ERP/reporting system oversight.
• Leading and developing the finance team.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Significant senior financial control experience, preferably in renewables, infrastructure or energy.
• Project finance and lender management experience.
• Strong technical accounting with a hands‑on approach.

Required skills

• NetSuite or similar ERP system.
• Financial reporting and analysis.
